A great example of our ability to create audience-specific brands under the WMEAC umbrella is the Summer Science Explorers Program, in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of West Michigan. This partnership aims to spark children’s interest in science and foster a stronger connection to their local ecosystems.
Targeting 8-12-year-old students and their parents, our challenge was to create a youthful yet not childish brand that is science-inspired without being dull, while maintaining the WMEAC identity. Our tools, such as field journals, curriculum assets, weekly sticker packs, and worksheets, kept students engaged throughout the summer. The kids eagerly traded bug stickers to decorate their filled notebooks. The program’s success in its first year led to its expansion to Muskegon County.
