Graphic Designer

A Designer at Well is focused on providing support for our lead designers. They will work in partnership with a project team to conceptualize, strategize, and produce deliverables. 

Our studio’s project size ranges from small-scale, single-deliverable projects to large-scale public advertising campaigns with many moving parts. As a designer at Well, you will collaborate on small-scale projects and grow in your role as a Designer at Well.

  • $40-45,000 depending on experience
  • 40 hours per week

Job Overview

Well Design Studio is looking to grow our team. We are seeking a graphic designer to help elevate our work and increase our capacity for larger projects. We would prefer candidates with 2 years’ experience working freelance or in a similar role.


  • Design deliverables for print and digital 
  • Ensure tasks are completed with high quality and on schedule
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions
  • Occasionally sit in on meetings, present work or receive feedback from clients
  • Work with Project Team to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of products
  • Create original branding, graphic and interactive design 
  • Explain the creative process and decisions to clients when presenting work product
  • Review and critique production teamwork before sent to creative director
  • Support other Lead Designers through critique, ideation, and collaborative design

Desirable Skills


  • Proven skills in InDesign and Illustrator
  • Proficient in Photoshop
  • After Effects knowledge and motion graphics creation is a plus
  • Proficient in a UI design tool (Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or Invision Studio)

Personality + Design Skills

  • Proven knowledge and skill in typography
  • Can provide a design portfolio which displays a range of digital, print, and interactive work
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good communication skills 
    • Bi-lingual is a plus (Spanish preferred)
  • Ability to interact respectfully with teammates
  • Strong conceptual thinker
  • Ability to handle critique and feedback with confidence

Product Team Manager

This position is focused on supporting the creative needs of the studio from kickoff through delivery. This person will manage internal and client meetings, develop project briefs and documentation and handle the day to day project management. This position is front-facing and will be able to handle communications with long-standing clients that trust our studio.

As a small studio, this role will also fill a creative need. This position will support our team with campaign development, critique, creative conceptualization, and content/message development as well as non-design related work. 

Reports To

Project Manager – Focused on day-to-day project management as it relates to scheduling and distribution of project knowledge and materials

Creative/Account Leads –  Work in partnership with our project teams to develop strategy, content, messaging, and other non-design related creative products.


  • $42-45,000 depending on experience

  • Guide projects from strategy to execution
  • Manage meeting schedules 
  • Facilitate pass-off of materials and files to the creative team
  • Work with contractors to manage hours and pass-off
  • Assist with miscellaneous studio needs
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects within project specifications and budget restrictions
  • Sit in and document  client meetings as needed
  • Provide campaign-focused creative assistance
    • Bilingual with a focus on English and Spanish
  • Strategic content development and writing
  • Support top-level message  development
  • Support campaign strategy development
  • Proofread and edit content
